What is coaching?

Coaching is an extremely powerful tool. It is a vast field with a multitude of applications: sports coaching, life coaching, executive coaching, relationship coaching, health coaching and many more. Its primary purpose is to help people find their own answers and way forward.

We specalise in professional coaching for those who wish to move forward with their professional goals and careers, whether already established or new.

Coaching is based on the notion that we are all naturally creative and resourceful and that, with some help when needed, we are all capable of finding our own solutions and defining our own actions in order to achieve whatever it is we have set out to achieve. Coaching does not analyse the past, but starts with the present and looks to the future.

How can coaching help you?

There are so many ways it can help. We’ve listed just a few examples below:

  • you are hoping for a promotion and it doesn’t seem to be happening
  • you are planning a career change and are unsure where to start
  • you have lost your motivation
  • you lack self-confidence
  • you feel under-valued and under-appreciated and it’s preventing you from moving forward
  • you have writer’s block
  • you want to stimulate your creativity
  • you have a dream and don’t know how to make it your reality
How it works

We provide coaching both in English and in French. We can coach remotely, via video conference, or in person, depending on your preference (and of course the evolution of the coronavirus pandemic around the world).

Sessions usually last about 1 hour. We would start with a single Discovery Session to discuss your objectives, how the coaching would work and whether we wish to move forward together. From that point, a typical contract will be for 6 sessions. This can be extended, or shortened, by mutual agreement.

Sessions will be scheduled at mutually convenient times. They can be weekly, every 2 or 3 weeks or even monthly. You pay as you go, so no up-front expense, and if the contract is suspended or shortened, you will only have paid for the sessions that actually take place.

  2. Choose a date and time that works for you from the available options.
  3. Enter your email address, your name and explain briefly what your goals or dreams are.

Lesley’s coaching training followed an ICF-based curriculum. She has a great deal of experience as a people manager, where she actively used coaching to manage her global teams, and has an IT background. She is also a writer of both fiction and non-fiction.

Lesley coaches in both English and French (if you don’t mind the accent!) and is a member of the ICF (International Coaching Federation).

Alex’s coaching training is through the ICN Business School and he is also an Agile Coach. He has a great deal of experience working with diverse teams and solving complex problems. He has an IT background and writes blogs on Agile, Scrum and other technology-related topics.

Alex coaches in French and is a member of the ICF (International Coaching Federation).

We adhere to the International Coaching Federation standards in terms of core competencies and code of ethics.
